I look forward to developing the expertise of small companies Google introduced a revised version of Google My Business App on Wednesday.
This new app target helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) and helps keep their profile up- to- date on Google Search and Google Maps to increase customer engagement.
Google My Business App is simple and free, offering SMBs intuitive ways to begin their digital journey by listening to Google themselves.
This app not only helps you update your profile but also enables you to talk to customers on the go and attract new ones.
The revamped version of Google My Business App comes with many useful features like
- A new post button that lets you upload a business picture, create an offer or event that will let your customers know and add it to your profile.
- A businessman can manage his business information and watch edits appear in real-time through search and maps from the profile tab.
- Companies can connect to their customers, respond to reviews and receive messages at one place through the updated customer tab.
- The new updated navigation button bar allows companies to track the relevant results, as it provides one-tap access to the home tab, new customer tab, and profile tab.
At the launch event on Wednesday, Shalini Girish, Director, Marketing Solutions, Google India, said: ” The new Google My Business app strengthens our commitment to help businesses grow online. The new app will encourage businesses to manage their presence on Google in real time, make their profiles more appealing and interact with customers”.
Explaining how all the new updated features work, Girish says, ” For example, if you are a restaurant owner and have a packed house on a Friday night, the app lets you create a post with a restaurant picture on Maps and Search for prospective customers. ”
Girish also says she hopes that the ” real-time ” presence feature will disappear and help companies attract new customers while bringing back existing customers.
This Google My Business App is available on both Android and ios platforms.
This app is part of Google India and shows the tech giant’s ongoing efforts to authorize business in India to grow online.
Last year, Google introduced a digital unlocked initiative that is designed to assist the SMBs with digital skill and also launched an app called Primer.
Primer is a simple and free mobile app that designed to teach digital skills to business owners.
